IoT Platform

True interoperability

SenseOne IoT Platform removes the burden of cross-domain implementations in IoT segments of Smart Cities, Connected Buildings and Connected Assets

Platform capabilities

SenseOne IoT Platform is purposely designed and engineered for simplifying the complexities of multiple integrations between heterogeneous IoT assets: smart meters, equipment of any type, machines, sensors and Enterprise Applications systems (Enterprise Asset Management, Building Information Modelling, ERP, CRM, BI, HCM and Retail systems).

The unique advantage of SenseOne IoT Platform lies in providing a multi-platform and device-agnostic computing environment for IoT-based interoperability in cross-domain implementations that may range from Smart Buildings/Smart Venues to Connected Environments/Smart Cities.

SenseOne IoT Platform interoperability

Our platform supports protocol convergence between more than 70 industry-standard protocols across five key operational technology domains: automatic meter reading, power system automation, building automation, process automation and industrial control systems.

Design principles

The design principles that underlie SenseOne IoT Platform’s architecture help IoT stakeholders, consultants and end users to break away from monolithic coding approaches through extensive use of micro-services and containerized ontologies that are maximizing platform scalability and ease of deployment while ensuring continuous integration.

Ease of deployment

Platform services are containerized for enabling virtual lightweight environments that provide ready-to-run deployment.

Multiple containers can be orchestrated to run in parallel, to maximize computing and serving capabilities depending on the nature of the service.

Abstraction Layers

New functionality is created with minimal effort using minimum requirements of the internal processes of the platform and the underlying domain logic.

Cluster Computing

Resource intensive computations, state of the art parallel data, processing frameworks and functional programming techniques are utilized to deliver fast and accurate results.

Infrastructure as code for zero touch provisioning

Our cloud platform infrastructure is automatically provisioned through code, instead of manual actions which in return results in reduced complexity and provider-specific processes.

Customer benefits

Cost and effort optimization

Minimize cost and effort for any  IoT implementation by automating high-volume, repeatable tasks.

Highlights: robotic processes for IoT-based automation, primary data calculations per communication protocol,  IoT device tree nodes creation and calculations, role-based definitions for calculations and key metrics, rules automation for recurring events,  mass updates of tree structures.

Performance and efficiency

Simplifies the onboarding of distributed BIG DATA streams  and  maximizes system efficiency.

Highlights: parallel data processing frameworks for ad-hoc quering on unlimited, multi-level  virtual data points,  wizard-based definitions of  BIG DATA calculations, embedded algorithms such as the cumulative sum (CUSUM) analysis of differences between actual and predicted values.

Flexibility and speed

Ensure maximum flexibility and speed thanks to the command-driven notifications engine of SenseOne IoT Platform.

Highlights: secure handling of device-level events or faults with error code deciphering, patterns and correlations between alarms  from heterogeneous IoT sources, detection of false-positive alarms and events in   relation to sporadic data.

SenseOne IoT Platform with Building Information Modelling system

(powered by BIM Centers-CCC , member of Consolidated Contractors Company)

SenseOne IoT Platform provides IoT resources which are required for mapping every BIM (Building Information Modelling) object into virtual metering points that transmit semantic information when changes at BIM objects occur. SenseOne IoT Platform creates a single pool for handling the combination of smart meters and any other IoT-enabled assets with virtual metering points in order to support mashups of BIG DATA streams and BIM-generated insights. The integrated IoT-BIM offering provides multiple stakeholders including construction engineers, facility managers and end users with real time building information that may range from temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide levels as per actual occupancy to sophisticated alarms, alerts and notifications for preventing/handling emergency situations.
